Commitment to Quality

Quality Is Our Compass — Our True North.

At Plastic Molding Technology, Inc., we are committed to injecting the highest level of quality into everything we do.

Zero defects and 100% on-time deliveries are our constant goals. Continuous Improvement is our mantra.

Throughout our 5-decade history, we have always been – and always will be – committed to total customer satisfaction, from design and engineering to molding and customer service. Our steadfast commitment to quality in both products and customer service, as well as our constant focus on continuous improvement, has helped us to build long-standing relationships with customers and achieve high levels of repeat business.

Our quality goals are achieved through a combination of state-of-the-art equipment, clearly defined processes, rigorous quality controls, hands-on management, continuous training, and a skilled, dedicated workforce. We utilize the eDART System™, a powerful production process monitoring and control system with an array of features and functions designed to enhance quality controls throughout the manufacturing process.

Each and every manufactured part is subject to automatic and/or visual inspection. Many of our production cells employ robotic and vision systems to achieve maximum levels of consistency in process control and ensure superior part quality.

As a leading supplier to Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive manufacturers, we also utilize the automotive industry’s rigorous production part approval process (PPAP) to ensure confidence, reliability, and consistency in the Company’s production processes.

Other quality-focused processes and techniques we employ include “lean” production, 5-S, Six Sigma, statistical process control (SPC) and process failure mode effects analysis (PFMEA). Our project management service model also helps to provide clients with total quality assurance from start to finish.
